Last weekend, Brigitte and I spent two days at the Future of Festivals in Berlin. Between innovative event technology, new industry trends and many passionate people, we introduced Maya CrewCare — our Mental Health and Wellbeing program designed specifically for crews in event production.
And what can we say?
The response was overwhelming.
“Exactly what has been missing.”
“Finally someone is taking care of the crews.”
“How can we book you?”
These were just some of the reactions we received. In many conversations with exhibitors, organisers, technical service providers and colleagues from the industry, one thing became very clear: Mental health, stress regulation and preventative support for crew members are long overdue.
Many shared what happens when overload, constant pressure and a lack of recovery lead to absences — or even long-term health consequences.
Mental Health is becoming an industry topic — even at festivals
We didn’t just present; we listened.
People told us about their everyday reality: constant travelling, little sleep, no time to recharge, high expectations and increasing pressure.

What we take away
We spoke with many people, sparked interest, encouraged exchange and built new connections.
And most importantly: We received strong confirmation of our work.
Maya CrewCare isn’t just a good idea — it answers a real, urgent need.
